Today in class we worked in groups to come up with questions to fuel our research. My topic of marrying while incarcerated proved to be strong, others realized that their topics were far to broad. Some of the questions and aspects that I am going to look into are:

  •  Why do people marry criminals?
  • The laws of getting married while incarcerated.
  • Life after marrying a criminal.
  • A sociologist's  perspective on how society perceives the marriage.
  • Are there any benefits to marrying someone who is incarcerated?
  • How to they communicate?
  •  What is the actual statistics on people that do marry someone while they are behind bars?

With these questions and directions to go in mind, I will start my research process on Marrying a Murderer.

But first, under what circumstance would you ever marry a murderer?

Now that's a conundrum!
